The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) announced that it will issue a statement on Thursday at 11h00 GMT on the investigation into the poisoning of a double Russian exagente in the United Kingdom, accusing Russia of the attack.
The OPCW, an international organization that cooperates with the UN, „will issue a press release at 1:00 pm (1100 GMT),“ said a brief statement sent to AFP.
At the request of the British government, experts from the OPCW conducted an independent investigation into the alleged attack with a neurotoxic substance against the former Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia, on March 4 in the city of Salisbury.
Yulia was already discharged and her father remains hospitalized, although her condition improves.
The Russian government has insistently denied that it is after the attack that, according to the British authorities, was committed with a nerve agent that is manufactured only in Russian military laboratories.
The Western allies supported London and joined its measures of expulsion of Russian diplomats, to which Moscow responded in the same way.
