Canada’s Brady Leman won the Pyleongchang Games skicross gold medal on Wednesday, ahead of Switzerland’s Marc Bischofberger and Russian Olympic champion Sergey Ridzik.
Leman, 31 and fourth in Sochi-2014, succeeds Frenchman Jean-Frédéric Chapuis, eliminated in the quarter-finals.
Best French, Bovolenta placed 6th, finishing 2nd in the small final.
Author of a historic triplet in Russia, the tricolor delegation sent none of its four members in the final. François Place was eliminated in quarters like Chapuis and Arnaud Bovolenta, silver medal in 2014, stopped in half.
